The Maurice D. Hinchey Catskill Interpretive Center is a partnership between the Catskill Center and the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation. Our staff and volunteers are on hand to welcome visitors to the Catskills, provide information and help you plan your Catskill adventure!

The Catskill Interpretive Center is a program of the Catskill Center and receives generous operating support from the New York City Department of Environmental Protection and the Catskill Watershed Corporation, along with support from members and donors of the Catskill Center. Generous volunteer and staffing resources are provided by the Catskill 3500 Club, Catskill Mountain Club, Catskill Mountainkeeper and the NYNJ Trail Conference.
