Snow is falling across the Catskill Park today with expected totals by Wednesday night of 6 to 10 new inches of snow. Driving conditions may be difficult at times and most trailhead parking areas will not be plowed out until Wednesday afternoon at the earliest.
Cold weather will follow the snowstorm tonight and frigid conditions will settle in the mountains for the next few days. Visitors should expect daytime temperatures in single digits Wednesday through Friday and low temperatures at night well below zero.
