Livingston Manor, NY On Saturday, September 8th at 1:00pm, as part of the exhibition “Streams – art in motion” highlighting the Delaware River watershed, participating sculptor Naomi Teppich will lead two outings along Delaware River tributaries in the Livingston Manor area. There she will discuss her inspirations received from the natural beauty of these environments to create her sculptures.
Each session begins at the "Streams: Art in motion" exhibition hosted at Morgan Outdoors. Stunning sculptures by Teppich bring the biota of the river and tributaries into the exhibition room. Following a short exhibition tour, participants will continue to the field location to explore textures, shapes, and movements with the sculptor. The two outing dates are:
Saturday, Sept. 8 at 1:00 pm: Walk in the Headwaters at nearby Parksville Rail Trail. The walk follows the path of the O&W railway along the Little Beaverkill to a rock cut in the bluestone (raindate: Sunday, Sept. 16/)
