Sun. Oct. 21 at 1:00pm: Walk in the Headwaters at Mongaup State Park. The walk begins under a canopy of maple and birch and meanders to a hidden pond and shaded grotto of hemlock and white pine (raindate Sun. Oct. 28)
Several other public events are planned during the exhibition: programs about the walks and writings of John Burroughs; Artists who fished the Catskills; and First-growth Forests in the watershed. There will also be two Topography Workshops in October; one for children and one for adults.
This project is made possible in part with funding from a Sullivan County Arts and Heritage grant, funded by the Sullivan County Legislature and administered by the Delaware Valley Arts Alliance.
