The Ashokan Center Presents Acclaimed Acoustic Guitarist
July 10, 7:30 p.m.
Dot miss this rare Woodstock-area appearance by critically acclaimed guitar virtuoso, Beppe Gambetta.Described by The Huffington Post as "one of the best flat pickers anywhere," Gambetta is a composer, teacher, and researcher of traditional music and instruments. His technique, which echoes both Doc Watson and the Moravian folk music he loves, is characterized by flashy licks, intricate cross-picking patterns, open tunings, and fluid slides up and down the neck of the guitar.
Tickets for this special performance are $15 in advance (purchased online) and $20 on the day of the show (online or at the door). Click here for Tickets
