Colin Quinn, straight from his sold-out solo comedy tour-de-force, The New York Story, directed by Jerry Seinfeld, will headline a fundraiser for the Woodstock Land Conservancy, a non-profit Hudson Valley land trust. The benefit will be held at the Woodstock Playhouse on Saturday, April 16 at 7 P.M. VIP seating will include a post-show reception with light refreshments and the chance to chat with Colin.
Quinn, Saturday Night Live Weekend Update anchor and host of Comedy Central’s Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn was recently featured in Amy Schumer’s Trainwreck and is currently releasing his own satirical podcast, A Cop Show. According to the Huffington Post, Quinn is “a comic genius.” Although known for his gritty New York City wit, Quinn’s ties to Woodstock date from very early childhood days at the Woodstock Elementary School and he’s delighted to be bringing his quintessential comedy to benefit a worthy Woodstock cause.
Founded in 1988 by a dedicated group of local citizens, the Woodstock Land Conservancy (WLC) is committed to the protection, preservation and stewardship of open lands, forests, wetlands and watercourses, scenic areas and historic sites in Woodstock and the surrounding area.
