Bill Horne
Bill Horne is the author of The Improbable Community: Camp Woodland and the American Democratic Ideal. He is an attorney who practiced trade regulation law in Washington, D.C., and health care, public construction and civil rights law in Boston, Massachusetts. He grew up in Queens, New York, and was a camper at Camp Woodland from 1950-1960.

Come learn about the new Catskill Mountains Scenic Byway driving tour, presented by Catskill Center, a nonprofit organization that has been committed to preserving and enriching the economic, environmental, and cultural well-being of the Catskills since 1969. Take advantage of the wifi at the Catskill Interpretive Center to download the FREE Travelstorys app and Catskills tour, and then listen in as you head back out on the road. Take in the sweeping mountain views and charming small towns as you hear stories of the history, landscape, and culture of the Catskill region from the people that call it home.  

Creativity Caravan
The Creativity Caravan is a studio, gallery, and imaginarium founded in 2013 and located in Northern New Jersey. We offer art and writing experiences for kids and adults of all ages and abilities, and our mission is to spark, engage, and nourish creativity in communities everywhere through the joy of discovery and power of collaborative learning. Our home away from home is a 1973 Hunter Compact II travel trailer, nicknamed “Sunshine Doré.”

Daniella Tully
Daniela Tully’s debut novel Hotel on Shadow Lake, recently published by St. Martin’s Press, takes place in the Hudson Valley. In fact, the hotel of the title is inspired by the Mohonk Mountain House. The novel is a mystery, an epic romance, and a family saga based on Daniela’s own family history and a long lost letter from her grandmother’s twin brother, a German fighter pilot who died during WWII. The story spans from Munich in 1938 to the Hudson Valley in 2017.

Glenn Kreisberg
Glenn Kreisberg is a radio frequency engineer, author, researcher and licensed outdoor guide who served two terms as Vice President of the New England Antiquities Research Association (www.NEARA.org ) Glenn is cofounder and currently serves as chairperson of the Overlook Mountain Center in Woodstock, NY www.overlookmountain.org.

Michael Boyajian
Michael Boyajian is a retired attorney and former human rights judge. He is the author of Roman Armenia, Efficacious Roman Suicide, A Hudson Valley High, A Hudson Valley Writer’s Guide, Bee Boro, Into the Bright Light of the Sun and a co author of The People’s Victory. He lives with his wife Jeri Wagner and their three cars in the Hudson Valley where they enjoy their Cicero inspired garden and library.

Mountain Top Historical Society
The Mountain Top Historical Society is dedicated to discovering , preserving, interpreting and sharing the unique and rich history of the Mountain Top region in Greene County, NY. The Society is a not-for-profit organization founded in 1974 and engages in activities and programs that enrich understanding and foster appreciation of the Catskill High peaks.  We encourage the study and preservation of the Mountain Top’s art, literature, history, culture, folklore, legends in a variety of ways.

Neal Brownell
Neal G Brownell is a multi-faceted individual. Being an inventor at heart, his interests are many. What makes him the happiest though is bringing out the special gifts in a
person that they might not have even realized were there. This is what led him to write his book, Just the Way You Are – You’re Amazing and I’ll Prove It! It engages readers of all ages to the point that they internalize, understand, believe, and then are able to act on the knowledge that all people are exceptionally special. Just the Way You Are asks questions you probably never even thought of asking to show the reader that each and every one of us has extraordinary gifts given to us at birth. Entwined with the questions are also real-life stories about seemingly unremarkable people doing extraordinary things.

Olive Free Library 
The mission of the Olive Free Library is to provide our community and its surrounding neighbors with materials and services that meet educational, informational, cultural and
recreational needs. It also provides a site for community activities that meet the same needs.

Poetry Barn
A literary center located in New York’s Catskill Park, Poetry Barn offers workshops, readings, retreats, and the largest independent poetry lending library in the region. Located ten miles from Woodstock and surrounded by the Catskill mountains and Ashokan reservoir, we look to nature for inspiration and act as a pollinator habitat for art.

Post Traumatic Press
Post Traumatic Press (PTP) is a small independent press founded in 2000, located in Woodstock New York. Our original mission: to give voices to veterans and noncombatants whose lives have been affected by the trauma of war. We have since expanded to include the work of Hudson River Valley authors. web site: PostTraumaticPress.com. A belief in the power of words to heal is what PTP is about.

SM-ARC, inc - the Artists’ Renaissance Collaborative
The Artists’ Renaissance Collaborative, is a 501(c)3 dedicated to promoting arts and entertainment in the Tampa Bay area. Board president Carol Schork is a lifelong resident of the Catskill Mountains, and is pleased to be expanding the scope of SM-ARC into the Hudson Valley. Mrs. Schork will be offering an assortment of books in hard & soft cover for young, adult, and family readers, as well as framed illustrations from two of the books, book markers, and a personal perspective on some of the available titles and authors.

Ulster County Clerk’s Office
The Ulster County Clerk's Office acts as Custodian of the records for the County. We oversee records dating back to 1683 including deeds, mortgages, judgments, liens, maps, civil and criminal actions. Yearly, hundreds of people search, file and record land records, legal documents and court papers in the office.

Writers in the Mountains
Writers in the Mountains (WIM), a literary nonprofit organization serving the Catskills and the Hudson Valley area since 1992, offers a variety of creative writing workshops year round, and hosts numerous literary events to promote the written word throughout our region and beyond.
