Please join us on the Great lawn of the Comeau for a Morning of Mindfulness. We will begin with gentle qigong movement exercises, designed to align and attune our bodies, minds, and spirits with nature and the potent beauty of summer in Woodstock. These movements are simple, profound, and can be done by people of all fitness levels. This part of the morning will last approximately 1/2 hour and will be followed by a guided mindfulness walk, in silence, through the tranquil woods and along the dramatic Sawkill Creek.Celeste Graves, M.A., Movement Artist and Senior Trainer with the international Tai Chi forHealth lnstitute, will be leading this event, sponsored by the Comeau Stewardship Advisory Committee. lt is free to the public and all are welcome.
Following the walk, we will gather once more on the Great Lawn for a brief integration med-
itation. This will give everyone the opportunity to reflect on the experience and how it
might continue to serve us as we move into the rest of our day - and our lives.
Note; ln order for you to be able to give your full ottention to yourself within the experience
of being in Nature and in silence, we request that you not bring your dog ot this time.
