Writer's in the Mountains (WIM) is thrilled to once again present its popular six-week long Journaling Workshop with veteran instructor Ev Ellsworth. The class will be held Tuesdays, 10 am to 12 noon, from September 6 to October 11, 2016 at the Roxbury Public Library.
Ev Ellsworth, one of WIM's most insightful, understanding and popular teacher, helps even the most skeptical and scared novice to dare to write. She is expert at offering writers, from new diarists to veteran journal-keepers, the tools and support they need to ease into journaling, deepen their journaling abilities and nurture their creative expression.
Ev, a remarkable "journalist" herself, is sensitive to the journaling process and creates an encouraging class environment for participating writers. Class participants agree to write several pages weekly, read them aloud in class, listen to the work of other class members, and join in discussions of the work and the craft of writing. Ev taught English in Northern New Jersey for many years. She served as the Director of WIM for two years and remains active with the organization.
Class fee is $70. To register, call Jean Stone at (607) 326-4802, or e-mail her firstname.lastname@example.org. To register online, visit writersinthemountains.org.
