Celebrating the human voice with a spotlight on Shakespeare, the four­ day festival will feature Verdi’s Otello with rising tenor phenomenon Limmie Pulliam. Kiss Me Kate staring acclaimed soprano and former Miss America, Susan Powell (Miss America 1981) and her husband, Richard White, star of New York City Opera and Broadway as well as the voice of 'Gaston' in the Disney movie Beauty and the Beast and directed by Broadway veteran Lee Roy Reams. American operatic soprano, Lauren Flanigan returns with three new works by Thomas Pasatieri based on Shakespeare’s leading ladies, Desdemona, Juliet, and Lady McBeth.

This season also highlights an abundance of regional and youthful talent. New Genesis Productions bringing together the enduring works of Shakespeare with the vibrancy, imagination, and talent of youth from New York’s Hudson Valley will present Muse of Fire a 90 minute, original, fast­ paced romp through Shakespeare’s plays and themes.

Woodstock’s Paul Green Rock Academy will perform music by The Beatles focusing on the pop group’s psychedelic era.

Veteran Shakespearean actor and director, Carey Harrison and concert pianist, Justin Kolb will perform a stylized interpretation for piano and spoken word of Alfred Lord Tennyson’s epoch narrative poem Enoch Arden. Harrison will also lead an entertaining talk titled Hamlet Once and For All.

The festival will conclude on Sunday with a Celtic Celebration featuring a roster of artists direct from Ireland.
