Mountain Culture Rondout Neversink Stream Program kicks off this year's outreach on the Rondout Creek with a history talk @ at Sundown Church Hall. Dr. Bill Birns will illuminate connections between the lives of people in mountain communities 100 years ago and mountain culture today. Birns, president of Woodstock Lodge Board of Trustees, recently completed an essay exploring rural life after decades of chronicling local characters in his newspaper column, "A Catskill Catalog." Brenden Wagner, Stream Restoration Coordinator, will host the event sponsored by Sullivan County Soil & Water Conservation District.
