Water Wise: The Essential Element of the Catskills
Join Marguerite, R.N., Herbalist and Wild Foods Forager for a short watery show and tell on what makes this element so important for us in the Catskills. By taking a walk into the woods for a wild edible extravaganza Marguerite connects the dots by how we can be water wise in the field, with plants and trees. Through the process of observation, questions and revelations come up that we may have never thought of before. While near specific trees, she will share some tree and plant investigations that she and her students have been executing since March, 2018 that are directly related to – being water wise. This outdoor walk and talk will happen rain or shine so dress for weather. This event is free but pre-registration is required - please call 845-688-3369 or email info@catskillcenter.org for more information or to register.

This event is made possible with funds from the Catskill Watershed corporation in partnership with the New York City Department of Environmental Protection.
