Bring your pencils and paints (or borrow ours!) and a picnic lunch*, and join local artists on our beautiful 62-acres of forest, meadows and wetlands in the mountains to create art outdoors inspired by the landscape. This celebration of art and nature will also feature hands-on art stations and live music and dance performances.
FREE! As always, donations are appreciated to support the Catskill Interpretive Center.
Kids are welcome. Activities are suitable for all ages unless otherwise noted.
Please dress for comfort outside and the possibility of getting a little messy in the name of great art!
* Don't want to pack your own lunch? Local cafes on the way to the CIC like Marty's Mercantile and Bite Me Bakery are offering picnic-ready specials just for the occasion! Stop in or check out #artistspicnic on Instagram for more info.
Rain or shine. In case of less than great weather, all main activities will be held indoors or under the shelter of our porch or beautiful new pavilion.
