  • Maurice D. Hinchey Catskill Interpretive Center 5096 New York 28 Mount Tremper, NY, 12457 United States (map)

Robert Selkowitz, Director of Historic Automobile Endurance Runs, will join us at the CIC to present From Devil Wagons to Mud Larks: The Catskill Conquest Pilot Rally.

The Catskill Conquest Pilot Rally is a new annual event to commemorate the historic 1903 Automobile Endurance Run, which drove through the Esopus Valley as part of an 800-mile route from New York City to Pittsburgh. Come hear the history of the endurance run and the role it played in the birth of automobiling and road building across America. Also learn more about opportunities to participate in or attend this year's rally, which will be held in September and will begin at the Catskill Interpretive Center.
