Aliens In Your Backyard - Invasive Species in the Catskills

  • Maurice D. Hinchey Catskill Interpretive Center 5096 New York 28 Mount Tremper, NY, 12457 United States (map)

Dan Snider from the Catskill Regional Invasive Species Partnership (CRISP) will join us to share the basics on invasive plants and animals, how they impact our local environment, and what you can do to help in your own backyard and around your community. Enjoy a short presentation inside - and the chance to see real invasive pest specimens up close! - and then venture out on the nature trails with Dan to spot the invasive species currently making themselves at home right here at the CIC.

Free! All ages welcome.  This program is presented in honor of National Invasive Species Awareness Week.
