This week at Catskill Mountain Kids fall is in the trees and we’re talking about LEAVES: from the science behind the changing colors to the natural fall beauty that inspired the landscapes of the Hudson River School painters.
Catskill Mountain Kids is a year-round weekly daytime program series that celebrates the nature, history and culture of the Catskills. Each session will include some focused learning time, hands-on activities, and outdoor exploration. The program is geared for ages 4-7 but all are welcome. Please dress for the weather/being outside and the possibility of getting messy.
The Fall session will run for five weeks and include programs with the following themes: Leaves; Apples; Homesteading; Hibernation; and Turkeys. We’d love to see families come back every week, but you can also feel free to pick & choose the dates that work for you.
Suggested donation: $2/child (max of $5/family), members free. Donations support the ongoing programs and operations of the Catskill Interpretive Center, a program of the Catskill Center nonprofit organization.
