Invasive Plant Pull

Join the Catskill Center, New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, and the Ashokan Watershed Stream Management Program and learn about invasive plants. Be a part of a crew pulling them out in preparation to plant native species and to demonstrate how to protect our local streams.

There will be a guided walk to introduce you to invasive and native plants and guidance and instruction provided on how to safely pull out the invasives. Gloves and tools will be provided. Please dress in longs sleeves and long pants; wear hard shoes and a hat.

We will provide water to drink and on Saturday we will provide lunch.
