Everyday History with Woodstock Historian Richard Heppner

Richard Heppner has served as Woodstock Town Historian since 2001. During this time he has written extensively on the history of one of America’s most famous small towns and about life in New York's Catskill Mountains. In addition to numerous essays written for the Woodstock Times, Almanac Weekly and other area publications, he is also the author of Women of the Catskills, co-author with Janine Fallon-Mower of Legendary Locals of Woodstock and editor of Remembering Woodstock.
